This week you can drop in and donate blood at various times and locations in La Línea. Here’s where and when you can find the mobile collection unit and do your bit.
If you were resident in the UK at any time between 1980-1996, unfortunately you won’t be able to donate blood in Spain due to the theoretical risk of transmitting CJD. However, you can donate blood pretty much any day of the week at Gibraltar’s Blood Department, so give them a call on +350 2000 7251!
Requirements to be a blood donor are to be in good health, aged between 18 and 65 years old (60 if it is your first time), and weighing at least 50 kilos.
