
The below details restrictions that will come into force tomorrow and will stay in force until 9th April – after Semana Santa.
- The curfew will start an hour later at 23:00.
- Non-essential businesses including bars and restaurants will now be permitted to open until 22:30.
- However, the provincial borders will not be opened, as some had hoped.
- There has been no change to the maximum amount of people who can meet for social reasons will be raised from 4 to 6.

General

SOCIAL GATHERING:
Max. 6 people outdoors, 4 people indoors.
Travel
Only with residency document from either Gibraltar or Spain.
TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS:
Only travel within the province of Cadiz is allowed, with some exceptions (e.g. for a health appointment, for work, or for official reasons such as obtaining your residencia or ITV).

Bars, restaurants and takeaways
TAKEAWAY SERVICE: Food and drink orders may be collected until 21.30 and telephone orders may be made until 22.30. Delivery must be completed before 23:00.
Shopping
Open.
NON-ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES:
Open until 22:30 with 50% capacity.
OUTDOOR MARKETS:
Open.
Leisure and Sport
Open until 21:30 with limited capacity: 65% both inside and outside.
COMMUNITY POOLS:
50% capacity.
RECREATION IN OPEN AIR:
If meeting outdoors (in the park or on the beach) for sport or recreation, max 15 people per group. Each person should have a space of 4m squared around them.
BEACHES:
Closed from 21:30 – 07:00.
HIKING:
Max 20 people per group.
Education and Culture
Open.
LIBRARIES AND MUSEUMS
Open with 75% capacity. Guided tours with max 25 people (including the guide).
CINEMAS AND THEATRES:
Open with maximum capacity of either 75%, or 400 (inside) / 800 (outdoor).
Transport
No restrictions.
CARS:
All seats may be used.
TAXIS:
All the back seats may be used, but nobody sitting next to the driver unless it is the only seat available.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Everybody should be seated, but all seats may be used.

Classes or exams.
Assisting or caring for the elderly, minors, dependents, disabled or vulnerable people.
Returning home after carrying our any of the above activities, or refuelling in order to carry out the above activities.
Officially recognised sports events.
Fishing and markets.
Food delivery.
Situations of absolute necessity.
Exceptions to 18:00 closing time
Retail establishments of essential goods (e.g. food, beverages, household products).
Petrol stations
Health centers, services and establishments.
Optical and orthopaedic products.
Social and socio-sanitary services.
Pharmacies.
Veterinary centers or clinics.
Professional services and household employees.
Vehicle inspection stations.
Home delivery services.
Soup kitchens and other establishments for the delivery and distribution of food with a solidarity or charitable nature.
Wakes.
Sports centers for physical activity that are outdoors, as long as they are not contact sports.
Covered sports spaces for the practice of federated sports for ages 16 to absolute category.
Family meeting points.
Early Childhood Care Centers and Outpatient Treatment Centers.
Establishments with special hours:
- Highway service areas.
- Establishments located in airports and stations for users.
- Establishments located in hospitals, funeral homes and health centers.
- Establishments located in fish markets, markets and the like to serve workers.
- Non-university teaching activity, school canteens, morning classroom and school transport.
- University activities.
- Language schools, academies, adult education centers etc..
