Banks: Cash desposits and withdrawals
When and where to withdraw cash for free and pay bills

What could be simpler than depositing and withdrawing cash at a bank? Well, if you live in Andalucía, the answer is almost anything else.
Most cash machines will charge you a fee for withdrawing cash – between 2-5€ per withdrawal is quite normal. On top of that, certain banks refuse Revolut or other prepaid cards.
As regards depositing cash – to pay a bill or fine – banks are actually required by the government to provide this service. However, you will find they impose insane restrictions on exactly when you can do this. Without this guide, you will likely queue up for up to an hour at the bank, only to find they won’t let you pay your bill because it’s not exactly 9:30am on a Tuesday.

Free cash withdrawals in La Línea
Currently, the only places to withdraw euros without a fee are:
- Cajasur, Calle Real
- Unicaja, Calle Real (only the machine on the LEFT works with Revolut)
